Junior Development Program
Term 4 2008
The Junior Development Program is designed to introduce primary aged school children (aged 6-12) to the game of basketball. The program costs $20 which includes PCYC membership, Basketball, Water Bottle, T-shirt and all clinics and games.
The structured program has a balance of development and game time to allow children to increase their fitness and skills whilst ensuring they have fun.
Benefits of the program include:
- Fun and informative sessions conducted by qualified coaches
- Games are conducted on Saturday Mornings and training on Wednesday Afternoons.
- Development of basketball and general motor skills utilising
“Game Sense” approach of modified drills and games - Structured program and clinics including handouts of drills to inform parents.
- All sessions conducted at Inala PCYC indoor facilities

Western Magic Basketball Club
Western Magic Basketball Club encourages children from 6 years to 22 years of age to play and enjoy the sport of Basketball in a team environment, either on a social level or a more competitive level with many of our players participating in Representative Basketball.
Games are played on Saturdays at Brisbane Basketball, Land Street, Auchenflower.
Training and home venue is the Inala PCYC with training on Monday or Wednesday Evenings. Western Magic Fees: Registration:$75; Training:$4 week; Games:$10 per week.
